Amber Heard’s Lawyer Confirms She Is Unable To Pay Johnny Depp’s Judgment Money

Actress Amber Heard’s lawyer said recently that Amber is unable to pay her ex-husband Johnny Depp more than $10 million in damages he was awarded by the court.

During an interview with the NBC TODAY show, when Amber’s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft was asked if Amber can afford to pay Johnny, she said: “Oh no, absolutely not.”

She also said Amber will “absolutely” appeal the verdict and “has some excellent grounds for it.”

Bredehoft was further asked by TODAY about Heard’s reaction to the verdict in the trial, which took place in Fairfax County Circuit Court near the US capital.

“One of the first things she said is that, ‘I am so sorry to all those women out there’,” Bredehoft said. “This is a setback for all women in and outside the courtroom, and she feels the burden of that.”

In a statement on Instagram, Heard said, “the disappointment I feel today is beyond words”.

“I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband,” she said.
