SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — August 2026 — Sydney’s fashion and entertainment landscape is set to shine as Sydney’s Best Dressed 2026 – International Fashion Weekend prepares to bring together emerging talent, established creatives, designers, performers, and community leaders for an afternoon celebrating style, achievement, and inspiration.
Taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Werriwa Theatre, Revesby Workers’ Club, the highly anticipated fashion event will showcase the next generation of Australian models alongside local and international designers, creating a platform where fashion meets purpose and personal achievement.
Doors open at 1:30 pm, with the runway spectacular commencing at 2:30 pm, featuring designer showcases, entertainment performances, themed runway presentations, and the recognition of 16 exceptional Sydney’s Best Dressed Awardees.
Unlike traditional fashion events that focus solely on appearance, Sydney’s Best Dressed 2026 celebrates individuals whose stories reflect confidence, creativity, leadership, community involvement, and personal growth. The awardees represent a diverse collection of emerging models, performers, pageant titleholders, young leaders, artists, athletes, STEM achievers, and advocates who are making an impact both on and beyond the runway.
Among this year’s distinguished awardees is Cataleya Caygill, an accomplished young model and performer recognised for her achievements in pageantry and fashion. Maria Hall, a Filipino-Australian student leader, brings together her passion for modelling, performance, and community service, representing the confidence and ambition of Australia’s emerging generation.
The event will also honour individuals using their talents to create positive change. Kathy Cao continues to combine her modelling journey with humanitarian work and community volunteering, while Grace Tione showcases remarkable versatility across modelling, acting, music, and cultural performance.
Young creatives including Sophia Goncalves, Anishka Gupta, Chloe Truc, and Emma Truc highlight the importance of encouraging creativity from an early age through their achievements across fashion, performing arts, singing, acting, and writing.
Also recognised are Clarissa Choy, Sophia Choy, Halle Brown, and Caroline Dsouza, whose modelling journeys reflect dedication, confidence, and a commitment to personal excellence while balancing education, leadership, and community participation.
Celebrating achievement across multiple fields, Zara Griffiths represents the connection between fashion and performance through her accomplishments in modelling, athletics, dance, aerial performance, and musical theatre. Eliza Greenwood brings a message of empowerment by demonstrating that innovation, STEM excellence, and fashion can successfully exist together.
The event will also spotlight inspirational women whose contributions extend beyond the fashion industry. Analieze Bella Newton, founder of Sausage Sizzle for the Homeless – The Big Picnic, continues to make a difference through years of charitable work and community support. Sakshi Huria, a pageant titleholder, model, creative artist, and event stylist, combines her passion for fashion with advocacy for mental health awareness and animal welfare initiatives.
Adding an international dimension to the celebration, Sydney’s Best Dressed 2026 will feature exclusive designer showcases from renowned Australian and international fashion houses. Guests will experience collections from Australian designers Villoni and House of Catherine, alongside international designers Imperial Couture from the Philippines and Armhand Remojo, showcasing couture craftsmanship and global fashion influences.
“Sydney’s Best Dressed is about more than fashion—it is about celebrating people, their journeys, their achievements, and the confidence to pursue their dreams,” said event organisers. “This event provides a platform for emerging talent while recognising individuals who inspire others through creativity, leadership, and community contribution.”
With its unique blend of fashion, entertainment, culture, and storytelling, Sydney’s Best Dressed 2026 – International Fashion Weekend aims to become one of Sydney’s standout celebrations of creativity and diversity.
