In the following week, a fallen angel and a tiyanak join forces to create a superhero whose good deeds will be the two creatures’ way back to heaven and they have their eyes on a barrio lass named Inday, played by Marian in “Super Inday and the Golden Bibe.”
Meanwhile, “Dance of the Steel Bars” follows a retired US fireman and philanthropist who finds himself wrongly accused of murder and imprisoned in the Philippines where he becomes close friends with fellow inmate, Mando (Dingdong).
Capping off the month is the Marian-starrer “My Lady Boss,” where she hires a handsome assistant to annoy her arrogant office rival, but a prohibited office romance is going to blossom between the boss and the assistant.
And as the Kapuso abroad surely could not get enough of DongYan, continue to catch their weekly sitcom “Jose & Maria’s Bonggang Villa” as they portray the most hospitable couple of a garden bed and breakfast business.
