Miss Earth Australia 2024 Finalists Engage in Beach Cleanup, Sponsor Visit, and Editorial Shoot in Lead-Up to Grand Finale

The journey to the Miss Earth Australia 2024 crown continued yesterday with a day packed full of activities that highlighted the contestants’ commitment to environmental advocacy and their readiness for the competition ahead. The day began with a beach cleanup at Bondi Beach, where the finalists joined forces to make a tangible impact on one of Sydney’s most iconic shorelines.

This hands-on environmental effort aligns perfectly with the core values of Miss Earth Australia, which emphasises the importance of conservation and sustainability. The beach cleanup not only demonstrated the finalists’ dedication to their advocacies but also served as a powerful reminder of the ongoing need to protect our planet’s natural beauty.

Following the cleanup, the finalists visited Budgy Smuggler, one of Miss Earth Australia’s esteemed sponsors, where they had the exciting opportunity to select swimwear for the main event. Budgy Smuggler, known for its vibrant and eco-friendly designs, provided the contestants with a variety of options that will be featured in the upcoming competition. The visit was a chance for the finalists to explore the brand’s commitment to sustainability, a key factor in their selection of swimwear.

The day’s activities continued back at Bondi Beach with a beach shoot that captured the finalists in their chosen swimwear. The stunning backdrop of Bondi Beach added to the allure of the photos, showcasing not only the contestants’ beauty but also their connection to the environment.

The finalists then headed to Proxima Hub, where they engaged in practice sessions in preparation for the main event. The intense rehearsals were followed by an editorial shoot for Sassy & Co and StarCentral Magazine. This shoot featured the swimwear collection of Lepou by Fai Peni, the CEO of Pacific International Runway. The editorial shoot provided a platform for the finalists to showcase their modelling skills while also highlighting the creativity and cultural richness of Fai’s designs.

With the grand finale just around the corner, the finalists are in full preparation mode, balancing their environmental responsibilities with the demands of the competition. Each activity brings them one step closer to the Miss Earth Australia 2024 crown, which will be awarded to the contestant who best embodies the spirit of environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
