1 December 2021: Australia’s most popular rewards program, Flybuys, has today officially launched its partnerships with iconic Australian retailers, Bunnings Warehouse and Officeworks – allowing Flybuys members to swipe and collect points at two more of their favourite stores.

From purchasing gifts for Christmas, tackling a DIY project, or getting the kids ready to head back to school, Flybuys members will be able to collect 1 Flybuys point per $1 spent in-store and online at Officeworks*, and in-store at Bunnings Warehouse*. The popular hardware retailer will also introduce online point collection in 2022.

Flybuys members will also be able to use their Flybuys points to save on their shop at Bunnings Warehouse and Officeworks by redeeming their points for Bunnings Warehouse and Officeworks gift cards via the Flybuys Rewards Store.

John Merakovsky, Chief Executive Officer, Flybuys, said: “It’s an exciting day for Flybuys members across the country as they wake up to new opportunities to collect points at two of Australia’s most iconic retailers in Bunnings Warehouse and Officeworks.

“As we all head out to do our Christmas shopping, refresh our home office or tidy up the backyard, it’s great to know that by simply shopping at the stores you love and presenting your Flybuys card, you’ll be collecting Flybuys points to use on a wide range of rewards or to save on your weekly grocery bill at Coles.”

Mike Schneider, Managing Director at Bunnings, said: “A trip to Bunnings is set to get even more rewarding with the launch of Flybuys at more than 300 of our stores across Australia. From tackling a weekend DIY project to a garden makeover, our customers can collect points on tens of thousands of products available across our store network, all at everyday low prices.

“We’re so pleased that the partnership also means Flybuys members can now redeem their points for Bunnings gift cards. This will get members one step closer to completing a dream renovation, creating a backyard oasis or setting up a new play area for the kids.”

Sarah Hunter, Managing Director at Officeworks, said: “We’re thrilled to be joining Australia’s favourite loyalty program, Flybuys. As we head into the busy holiday and back to school periods, we look forward to offering our customers the chance to collect Flybuys points on all their essentials, from stationery to the latest tech products.”

Following the addition of Bunnings Warehouse and Officeworks, Flybuys members can now collect points across 25 partners including some of Australia’s largest retailers like Coles, Kmart, Target, Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market, Catch.com.au and Coles Express.

Members can also collect points booking travel with Flybuys Travel, completing surveys through the Flybuys website or app, and via Flybuys’ financial and insurance services partners. Members can collect points to treat themselves to over 1,000 products from the Rewards Store, great travel deals, or money off their weekly shop at Coles.
