What do you think is on Chris Rock’s mind after that controversial Oscars slap?
The whole world is wondering how Chris Rock is going to respond after Will Smith slapped him on live television during the Oscars over the weekend. Although Will has officially apologised to Chris Rock via Instagram — Rock has remained quiet about what happened.
Last Wednesday evening though, Rock finally broke his silence and addressed the topic publicly during a standup show in Boston.
Variety confirms that during his standup show at the Wilbur Theater, Rock finally addressed the what happened at the Oscars.
“How was your weekend?” he began. “I don’t have a bunch of sh*t about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kind of processing what happened. So, at some point I’ll talk about that sh*t. And it will be serious and funny.”
An audience member then shouted “F*ck Will Smith!” however, Rock just ignored the comment and began his show.
“I’m going to tell some jokes,” he announced. “It’s nice to just be out.”
