TikTok Star Addison Rae’s Account Was ‘Permanently Banned’ And Then Restored After A Few Days… Which Is Weird

Everyone knows that Addison Rae is a TikTok superstar – she has 85 million followers on TikTok, putting her in the position of third most-followed (right behind @charlidamelio and @khaby.lame). She has also signed a multi-film deal with Netflix and she even launched a music career.

But a few days ago, the TikTok superstar announced on Twitter that she was permanently banned from TikTok. She posted a screenshot of a pop-up message from TikTok stating: “Your account was permanently banned due to multiple violations of our Community Guidelines”. She amusingly captioned her tweet, “Well time to get a job.”

There’s a number of reasons an account can violate TikTok’s Community Guidelines, including violent extremism, hateful behavior, illegal activities, violent content, harassment, adult nudity. According to TikTok, any content that violates these guidelines or promotes any of these violations will be removed. But to get permanently banned, an account would have to engage in “severe or repeated violations.”

Rae’s TikTok account has now been reinstated so she’s back, which saves her from having to “look for another job.” Considering all her projects lined up though, we think she’ll be fine despite the ban.
