Home-grown Aussie talent set to perform eclectic hits at the summer destination of the year

Experience rhythms, beats and notes that move you from some of Australia’s finest talent at The Garden Social between January 6 until the February 14 this summer.

There is a tune set to impress every crowd, from jazzy mellow notes to upbeat funky chords, you won’t know what to expect from this eclectic musical line up including 15 talented artists, duos and trios who will perform in front of the stunning Harbour views on The Garden Social stage in the heart of the Sydney CBD.

Witness musicians who have performed on The Voice AU, X Factor and Mardi Gras, just to name a few, all the way to jazz clubs and EDM stages around Australia. There is a never-ending supply of talent to keep you entertained all day and night.

Sam Hunter, an avid musician from the dynamic duo Beatnix is excited to have the opportunity to finally perform in front of a live crowd.

Sydney’s vibrant music industry is full of passionate artists looking forward to playing in front of live audiences in a COVID-safe way,” says Sam Hunter who is scheduled to perform on 7th January.

Each musician will perform on rotation throughout the event and bring a unique flair every time to the stage. Singer, songwriter and young guitarist Tash Wolf has produced her own solo arrangements since 2016 when she began posting videos online of her expert Blues and Jazz riffs.

Joining Tash throughout the event is DJ Mr Chad, who is one of the most highly regarded events and corporate DJs in Australia, offering an interesting style and fearless attitude together to deliver unique experiences for all audiences. Stay tuned to hear a glorious mix between pop, funk, 80s, indie, house and rock.

Incredible soul artist Ricky Nifo is an artist from the 2018 season of The Voice AU, where he was led by coach Kelly Rowland. He now performs as a backing singer for Tones and I. When he isn’t on the big stage, he keeps the melody flowing at functions alongside his guitarist and percussionist music partners.

Dynamic performance duo Club Sol is fronted by another Voice AU contestant, Luke Antony, who is joined with brilliant producer, guitarist and DJ Kyle Mguire. Both artists always prepare to blow away their audience with their funky soul and house music.

“With summer and daylight-saving in full swing, live music is bouncing back and outdoor events like Garden Social in the Domain are a great way to support Aussie musicians,” says Luke Antony who is scheduled to perform as part of Club Sol on 16 January.

The soulful music buzz continues with Emily Hanks, a soul, funk, reggae, hip-hop and jazz specialist who has shared the stage with names such as Guy Sebastian, Stan Walker and Coolio.

In addition to this immensely popular home-grown Aussie talent, musicians will be joining us from the highly regarded Conservatorium of Music, who will feature acts performing anything from trumpet duos to Folk Rock.

THE MAIN MUSIC LINE-UP:

Anjali Raj – Anjali commands the stage, whilst effortlessly delivering her smooth, dance, pop, and rnb vocals either at chilled acoustic sets or pumping dance floor fillers with a live band or DJ.

Beatnix (Jack Shepherd and Sam Hunter) – Beatnix is a street infused neo-soul, jazz-hip-hop and improv collective. They showcase a polished blend of arrangements amid improvised jams and originals.

Claudine Field – Claudine is a Sydney based drummer and percussionist with a keen interest in exploring unique sounds between rhythm and dance relationship.

Club Sol (Luke Antony and Kyle Mguire) – Luke and Kyle are a musical duo known for their funky soul and house sound.

DJ Karmal Jager – Jager is a Sydney based DJ, producer and vocalist who has dived headlong into the world of electronic music, producing all the best high beat tracks.

DJ Mr Chad – Mr Chad brings an eclectic style and fearless attitude to spark an audience of any demographic, bringing energy and excitement to the event or party whilst he shares his popular pop, funk, 80s, indie, house and rock mixes.

DJ Naj – Naj a talented music selector with a fun and energetic presence wherever he plays making him a pleasure to have at any event.

Emily Hanks- Emily is a soul, funk, blues, reggae, hip hop and jazz specialist. She has firmly planted herself within the Sydney music scene where she is a regular performer across the best venues, musicians and bands around town.

Hayley Teal Duo – Hayley is Australia’s most popular and versatile vocalists from X factor, Dancing with the Stars and Name That Tune, who has come together with Sydney’s most celebrated musician, Fenix Martinez; to create a classy and cool acoustic sound blending keyboards, looping and beats with her soothing serenades.

Jake Meadows –Jake creates a modern marriage of true analog and electronic through rhythmic, enigmatic and textured beats as his voice pairs with his inherent harp playing to create a new aura that is honest and exudes a sense of bittersweet grace.

Jordan C Thomas –Jordan’s trio ensemble works in the realms Jazz, Swing and Rockabilly, providing a familiar yet unique offering mixing both old style grooves with classic and current material.

Maari Music (Bronte and Dom) – Bronte and Dom lead with rich, soulful vocals and lush, ever-present harmonies. This. Duo brings an eclectic mix of ‘guilty-pleasure’ Pop, 90s, 00’s and even some of the duo’s original songs from their project Maari.

Ricky Nifo (Mt Trio) – Ricky’s passion for soul music was ignited from The Voice AU where he was chosen by Kelly Rowland. Since then, he delivers his soulful tunes on tour with Tones and I and performs at various functions and events.

Tash Wolf – Tash Wolf is one of these talented musicians, who has produced her own solo arrangements since 2016, when she began posting videos online of her expert Blues and Jazz riffs. Known for her eclectic mashups and soothing tones, she is Australia’s youngest guitarist heart throb.

Vincent Sebastian –Vincent is one of Sydney’s go to percussion players as he combines raw talent, passion and flair into one amazing rhythmic package. He also is a great electronic artist and producer fronting his mind blowing live EDM band called Oyobi.
